(we had to pay $20 [a lot for 12-year olds in 1978] for every 3 minutes of film) And wait till you get a hold of the shark we built.....(it sank after the first scene and you'll only see the fin after that).

A Scanner Darkly

Watched A Scanner Darkly today and I have to say I was pretty blown away by it. The rotoscoped animation gives it a visual style I've not seen before in a movie and the whole thing has the feel of a Tarantino film. If you enjoyed the other film adaptations of Phillip K Dick's novels (Blade Runner/Total Recall/Minority Report) it's worth checking out.
